Bhere Ltd, formerly known as Red Lion (Wells) Ltd, has been in existence since 1954 with the purchase of the Crown and Red Lion hotels in Wells which were subsequently replaced with the Swan. The Star was subsequently amalgamated with the Swan in 2001 to form a thriving fifty bedroom hotel which was subsequently sold in 2007.
Its Managing Director is Christopher Chapman who has been a Director since 1980 and whose experience includes not only the hotel industry but also property and financial investment.
With its significant cash reserves and strong balance sheet, the Company is committed to creating in "The Mews" properties both appealing in design, low in cost to the environment and of superior quality. It is also very keen to add something unique and distinctive to the eclectic and attractive property scene already evident in Wells.
